A completely re-engineered laboratory test device for the measurement of the electrical resistance of concrete against the penetration of chloride (RCPT). The measurement data can be used to estimate the chloride diffusion coefficient of concrete for the service life prediction and design of concrete structures as well as the durability-based quality control of concrete.

RCON2™ | Concrete Bulk Resistivity

A non-destructive device for measuring the electrical resistivity of concrete specimens in the laboratory without any additional sample preparation requirements. This measurement can easily be made on the same concrete samples that are currently used for the compressive strength testing of concrete.

The electrical resistivity of fresh concrete has been shown to provide a good indication on the water content as well as setting and hardening of concrete.
